After their work I made several copies to send to a group of people on the islands, in order to get their approval on the translation and to interest some sponsors to finance 5.000 copies, to be given for free to school children.

But ... several of the key players were not happy with the way the Kriulo was written.

And ... the translator already made 3 (!) versions of the text, The project was not finalised.

Casterman was disappointed, also because they already paid the Translator - Guy Ramos - for his work.

So, the status was:

• several versions were made; I have two totally different versions.
• 1 version was approved by Casterman.
• 10 copies were printed at that time. 
• The copies were divided among organisations / sponsors / the translator.
